So I was asked out by a guy who is really fit. Like, he has abs. Now, I'm not overweight, and I've learned to love and accept my body the way it is, so I'm comfortable with myself for the most part, but I'm nervous about what he will think of me since I don't work out. I mean, I eat well, and am healthy other than the fact that I'm not very active. I just. I don't know. This is the second time I've ever been asked out and the first time ended up in disaster. school is starting, and i have literally 0 friends. sometimes i get depressed over it, but i guess i just have to deal with it and try to get over my social anxiety and try harder to talk to someone this semester. I've had to sit alone at lunch and draw/read during free periods to occupy time for the last 4 years. the highlight of my day is when i go home. the life i lead is really sad, but once i finish my art pro-folio next year, i can transfer to a new school and try really hard to fit myself into a clique and not be alone. tbh, im just looking foward to the day i can finish school and get my art career on track.

I realize that i have many "unpopular opinions" and that i love ranting and discussing them with people. im thinking of starting a line chat where i can discuss my opinions without fangirls yelling at me in the comments. other people can also share their opinions and this would allow everyone to read new manga and perhaps debate with each other for fun. would anyone be interested in joining? of course only civil discussions would be allowed, and the purpose would be to make friends and see things from a different POV. i believe everyone can be criticized, and no artist/author is perfect, including me. if you are interested, please let me know or leave your line ID!

Hi. Recently I realized I lack social skills and communicating with people is hard. I don’t consider myself an introverted person, neither an extrovert. I really want to be able to have a better and more positive communication with people but I feel like I can’t. I want to have a lot of friends, online and irl. But I always think other people probably get the wrong idea about me. So I need advices. I want people to recognize me, but I also want them to consider me as their friend. I’ve always had problems making friends since I was young ( not to mention I didn’t get to spend much time with other people)
+ I don’t know if can help you to get a better idea of my problem or not, but recently I suspected that I might be dealing with moderate depression. That’s why I decided to communicate with people more because I think it might help me feel better about myself and my future
I feel so hopeless when it comes to relationships with others
There are people around me, but I can’t really communicate with them properly and some people really make me uncomfortable, I want to have a better relationship with my old friends and have even more new friends but talking to them more often doesn’t seem to work
I’m afraid that nobody will ever consider me a precious friend

Growing up I was really angry not understanding the circumstances I was in... I really wish I could have talked to my younger self and reassure them that it wasn't always their fault and that they are loved.
