I'm not a relationship expert, but you're probably not overreacting. She should know how to draw boundaries on kissing, especially when it's on the mouth, and respect her child's wishes when they feel uncomfortable.

BL stories that rely on flashbacks to communicate vital info kind of stuck.
By flashbacks, I mean like 5+ chapter long flashbacks.
Like, I’m sorry, but you can’t just drop in a whole arc’s worth of history to justify the toxic top’s behavior. Crap like that needs to be built up properly, for god’s sake.
