When I’m done with a piece of paper, I tear it in half 4 times to make 16 equal sized pieces before recycling it. Dunno why. It just makes me feel better. The only time it becomes a pain in the ass is when I’m throwing out 20+ princes of paper. It becomes tedious, even if I do multiple pages at once. But! It being fiction, doesn’t automatically mean it has no effect on everyone. Most people cry when a fictional dog dies, and get ticked off when something happens to their favorite character.
