Never heard or seen someone doing it. Under normal circumstances it should be unnecessary. Dirt should be washed away by normal water. Germs will die because of your stomach acid (it has a ph of 1). But don't drink too much water at the same time.   reply

As a german I can't give you advise how I would learn german myself but in general practice is easiest way. Speaking with someone in german could help on all levels, but I guess there is no native around you so hearing is the best option. Netflix is great for this.
