Do you agree with governments passing laws that require ID verification to use social media? Personally, I don’t. Australia passed a law where companies have to verify users' ages and block anyone under 16. Legislators claim the government won’t ask for IDs directly, but honestly, I have no idea how companies are supposed to confirm someone’s age without it.

I also don’t agree with ID verification for adult websites. While I don’t use them, I’m pretty sure most people wouldn’t feel comfortable handing over their ID just to access such sites. Sure, these laws are supposedly made to protect children, but to me, it feels like a massive invasion of privacy. And let’s be real—data breaches happen all the time, Users’ sensitive information could end up leaked, like what happened in Turkey. also, these rules can lead to people using websites or dark web that have unethical porn and also are unmoderated.

I’d never trust a company with my ID or upload it to the internet. Every website has vulnerabilities, and data breaches always can happen. Plus, governments could exploit this data for shady purposes. It could affect your freedom of speech or even put people in danger—like in countries where being queer is illegal. The internet is often the only safe space for LGBTQ+ who live in those countries to connect and express themselves with other queer people.

I just don’t get how people agree with these laws. Sure, protecting kids is important, but instead of enforcing intrusive measures, I’d rather see governments use their resources to educate parents. Teach them how to guide their kids, monitor their internet use, and block harmful websites. Education is a way better solution than trying to control everyone’s online life.

I see a lot of people here go off about how much authors love to create super feminine bottoms because they want to self-insert as them. Like, I saw someone ranting about a manhwa where the author made a super feminine bottom, claiming that the author fetishizes gay men and wants to be that feminine guy. even though the author is a guy, lol, and it's pretty clear he just wants to fuck that character instead of self-inserting because The character gets sexualized left and right, but people still refuse to acknowledge that some folks are genuinely attracted to super feminine bottoms. Why is that so hard to accept? Why do people always have to go through such a hoopla rather than accept that people are attracted to them? Sure, I believe there are authors who self-insert, but there are also plenty who are just attracted to feminine guys.

I know this might be a dumb question, but when I watch ghost-hunting videos, some of them make me feel a bit uneasy. There are places where real tragedies happened—like buildings that burned down with people inside, or where people were murdered in horrific ways, or asylums and jails where people were tortured. Yet, somehow, these tragedies get dismissed, and the focus becomes all about ghosts. Some ghost hunters even try to act like jerks just to provoke the 'ghosts.' Like, why aren’t you giving the same energy to straight stuff? There are so many shows with elementary school kids that have romance, but y’all act like queer kids don’t exist. What if the person you’re jumping on turns out to be a kid who just wants to see a queer kid like him in a TV show? Someone to show him he won’t be alone just because he’s different.

Just because it’s romance doesn’t mean it has to be sexual. Spending time together, laughing, and going on dates is enough. There’s nothing sexual about it.

All love and respect to the men who are here just to read and aren’t misogynistic pricks—I'm not talking about you; I'm just joking. But I see a lot of men calling women emotional and saying they can’t be leaders because of it. However, in my experience, the men in my life were more emotional than the women. Women often tried to find solutions before going into panic mode, whereas men would get mad, start shouting, and throw things around before thinking. Of course, that’s just my experience, and I’m sure many men don’t react this way, but I have a feeling that the ones who call women emotional are the ones who tend to react aggressively.

since there are a lot of questions about how BL sucks (I'm guilty of that), let's switch it this time and make it about how BL is great, give me BLs that you think deserve more love (also preferable if they are not popular, BLs that are hidden gems for you or something).

mangagoers often act like BL is mainstream or widely popular, but let’s be real—that’s not the case. BL will never reach the level of mainstream media because homophobia still exists. It’s weird how people complain about BL’s so-called ‘popularity’ when it’s not even mainstream. I also find it strange when people brag about not reading BL anymore and switching to straight media, like… wow, so quirky. Congrats on reading straight works, which make up 90% of all media—you’re just like everybody else.

Anyway, for me, I think Nitro+CHiRAL’s works stand out. Also, Mo Dao Zu Shi technically became mainstream, but only after they removed the BL elements—hence why it gained that level of popularity.
I also remember there was this guy who decided to stream himself playing Dramatical Murder, and his dude fans started whining about it, that made me laugh tbh
