Well, i'm not a guy but it's mostly perference i think. Like, gay guys may enjoy straight stories or read yuri & lesbian may enjoy reading yaoi instead of yuri, and it's not like straight guys can't enjoy yaoi just like how most yaoi readers are straight females. tbh i don't think that i can judge much, when i got into yaoi i was around 9-10 and i didn't really understand but then i slowly got into it. Now i'm 13 and i still like it.
