I agree with you. Not just that but it always show the stereotype of a cartoonish gay man or a tough guy lesbian. It's very triggering to see these stereotypes not all gay men act like that and not all lesbian women act like that but as long as the story shows good LGBTQ+ Portrayal then it shouldn't be much of a bother Mangas that actually shows......   reply

I stopped reading Yaoi At march of 2020. Why? I realized that most yaoi focuses on smut and fast relationship development. I still read shounen ai though because it doesn't take them 10 chapters to have a kiss scene It takes like forever and that makes me so happy because a developement of a relationship doesn't just take a few weeks to develop.   4 reply

I'm not afraid to love but I'm afraid of rejection the feeling of wanting to confess but seeing the probable conclusion of me confessing to that person, what will it lead to? the fear i have is having to confess to a person then they will change how they treat me but tbh if you're truly inlove wouldn't you just take the risk no matter what the cons......   reply

There's nothing wrong just explore your sexuality and in the end you'll find the right one whatever will it be and who you end up with as long as it makes you happy then that's it.   reply
