No one should dismiss anyone's feelings. Regardless of there identity or whatever, they are all humans. They deserve to feel the way they feel without being discredited, ignored, or made fun of. A joke can be just a joke to one, but to another it may not be the case. Know your audience. If you don't care what others think, so be it, but it is not f......   reply

You should call a suicide hotline or a therapist if your serious. Not getting into the school of your choice sucks, but there is no single road to reach one's goal. There are articles about situations like yours and how to overcome them.   reply

Yaoi is labeled as 18+, but I think the minimum age for anyone to read yaoi should be a least 15. I feel that humans between the ages 10 and 14 are more likely to take it too far, like I did. For anyone under 10, I think it is extremely inappropriate. I think parents/guardians need to be monitoring such things so they don't run across it in the fir......   reply

I'm haven't practice Christianity for while, but if I remember correctly, that wasn't even Jesus that said that stuff. Anything mentioning homosexuality was said by or inserted into the Bible by someone else. I'm not saying Jesus didn't do anything wrong or condemnable, but It's not fair to put words in a religious figures mouth and spread misinf......   reply

The term fujoshi was originally a term misogynist used as a way of saying the a woman that enjoys BL is no good for marriage. The term was reclaim by the community to give the word less power over them. I use it because, if others are foolish enough to assume that all fujoshis are like the stereotype, what can I really do? I read yaoi because I rel......   1 reply

I dropped a spoon once. I heard it hit the tile floor. I looked down in the direction the the clinking sound indicated, but there was no spoon to be found. It couldn't have be under the counters as there is no room for it to hide. Where the hell did it go? That spoon is missing to this day. There is also the time I heard my mom call me, but she wa......   1 reply

For me, omegaverse is just story prompt. It leaves room to acknowledge the cruel, animalistic, instinct driven side of humanity. It make for interesting stories. I also like it because it leaves room for fluff. It's a way for couples in yaoi to have children with an explanation of how, since male humans cannot give birth. It opens up new set of i......   2 reply

Certainly, not every culture is on the same page when it comes to such things. We cannot always treat subjects from other cultures as if they are on the same standards as ours. Not to say it is right, but it adds context to others actions. I like your way of approaching the issue from a more sociological perspective. It creates a bigger picture. A......   reply

Yeah, there is a lot of prejudice against fujoshis/fundanshis. People never seem to learn that the actions of a few does not represent the entire group. The majority of these immature people are teens and they will most likely out grown that mess. I've seen more people that are not so childish as to attack ships they don't support. Also, most of th......   3 reply

I was at home, late at night. I had been having pinching feelings in my lower stomach through out to day. I went to the bathroom and I saw a quarter sized spot of blood in my underwear. I ran into my sister's room, 21, and excitedly told her that I got my period. Then she said "Why did you have to get it in my room?"   reply

Possibly? it really depends on what aspect of yaoi you like. Do you like it just because they're gay? Do you relate more to yaoi for it being loosely from a man's 'perspective'? Or, are you just sick of the typical shoujo and josei plot? There are more questions that can be asked. I honestly don't think the the true problem here is the yaoi itself......   reply

This is based on my personal experience as a weeb (14-15 yrs old). Try communication, first. If they are a teen, first trying bringing what they are doing to their attention in a non-aggressive way (the way you approach them matters the most). Not all of the behavior just the more harmful ones like their views on yaoi and discrimination. If my f......   reply
