I've met tons of people online who love BL both female and other genders but I've yet to meet one IRL that isn't simply "Yeah. It's pretty cool ig" So I'm not really sure how to answer. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

for me it was characters forced into crossdressing that start to enjoy crossdressing.

i only realised i hated it later because my brain translated the being forced to act like another gender / dress like another gender as the trans experience and seeing those characters start to like acting / dressing in the gender they were forced to be pissed me off.

to clarify i LOVE characters that crossdress of their own free will!!! they slay and are amazing and i adore them with all my heart.

year's been rough so i wanna share some cute pet pictures before we're done! or i guess for some of us to start off the new year.

just your opinions that youre not really passionate about. theyre not especially unpopular or popular.

ill go first, calling characters in bl 'seme' and 'uke' feels just a little bit outdated maybe?

for me i saw a (BL) youtuber mentioning it between coughs as a half-joke and i had to look up between mangacow, mango, mangaco and a few others before i finally landed here

I've heard quite a few of my friends say that BL is nothing but people who like gay men and hacertified no awareness of LGBT+. However all of them were not part of the community. And most of the people I've met in the community are very aware of it. Is it jusT my delusion? I wanna know if yall are just here for gay or if you have a bit more awareness. I really hope it's the latter.

i read BJ Alex like ages ago and i barely remember anything about it, but every time i see a post on here complaining about yaoi BJ alex comes up as a hated one. i dont remember it much but damn was it that bad??? just out of curiousity
