My doctor told me not to speak for two weeks, if I liked my voice chords to heal faster. I'm 28. My advice? Try things. You won't know what you like, what you want, if you do not try them. It's so important, so if you have the chance to try something out, to learn something, take it! Some people will have prejudices against everyone and everything... Some companies won't hire people with tattoos, if there is the chance of having to handle customers. But that's just if the tattoos are easily seen. This is gradually changing, as peoples view of what being competent means changes.   reply

I got mine whe I was 13. It was at a friends house and her mom was just amazing in dealing with it and helping me. I was soooo glad it actually only stained my underwear, got a fresh pair from my friend, stuff needed from her mom and that was it. Tould my mom afterwards and got a silver necklace, as it seems it's tradion in my family to get a gift ......   reply
