Just dropped out of college and decided to just work because my health got worst and I learned that I am losing my vision little by little. I have been in a similar situation and have turned out to be a masochist however I would recommend researching it. It could be that it was a one time occurrence or that you may have some masochist tendencies. I recommend to test yourself and see for yourself if you are indeed a masochist.
