MC isn’t your typical strong independent woman type character but i wouldn’t call her weak either. She’s basically what you would get if you take those weak and kind MC’s who cry a lot but made them actually good and intresting characters
Though I am an Inept Villainess ~Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Swap in the Maiden Court~:
You know that thing manga does where they go “everyone love this character cause they’re so amazing” and then they show you the most basic bland bitch ever. That but make the MC actually great because there is no way that anyone who’s read’s this story wouldn’t immediately give their life up for the MC
The Holy Grail of Eris:
The real bad bitch was inside us all along. No literally. Honestly this story is such a breathe of fresh air like I love everything about it. Like all of the villains in this story are actually really fucking smart and not just cardboard cutouts to make the MC look good. I also love how the two main characters bounce off eachother. Also the way the portray the nobility is actually really unique. Overall extremely good story.
Olgami:
I feel like i would hate this kind of ML but he honestly works well with the way the story goes. Mostly because the MC goes well with him and she doesnt just go “you saved me now I’m in love with you”. The only true enemies to lovers shoujo set in morden day where the MC and ML are ACTUALLY enemies.
Depths of Malice:
I’ve been seeing this trend lately where for a MC to be evil they have to be really unlikeable or do something really fucked up that makes you go “but y tho” and i love that you dont get that with this manga. Is she evil? Yes. Do i still wanna root for her? Yes. Although i havent finished it yet so I’m praying to god that it doesnt take that route.
