Im sorry but does anyone ever cringe when they here this said in a story? Like I think its supposed to be cute or romantic or whatever but idk it just rubs me the wrong way but i dont know how to fully explain why so i was wondering if anyone else felt the same and could explain

Ok so I was hanging out with a friend of mine and she starts talking about how the way people perceive you is the way you truly are. I can’t really remember most of the conversation but she made a point about how if a killer thinks they are a good person but everyone else thinks they are a bad person then they are a bad person so if someone thinks that they look pretty but everyone else thinks that they look ugly then they are ugly. At first I thought it was stupid because she didn’t make sense and plus she was smoking so I couldn’t really take anything she was saying seriously but it’s like 3 am rn and I can’t stop thinking about this. Does she have a point or is it lack of sleep that’s making me think this way?

Karma isnt real and i think that that’s something that a lot of people have trouble accepting


I think that most people like to believe that bad people, especially people who hurt us, will themselves get hurt in the future but that’s not true


Sometimes bad people will do bad things and go on to live happy and fulfilling lives without ever facing justice


Sometimes the people who hurt us the most will never face any real consequences for their actions


If you’re lucky the guilt will slowly eat them alive even if nobody else knows and if you arent then they’ll completely forget about what they did and live their lives not weighed down by anything


And then they die and thats it


You can argue that they’ll face some sort of retribution in the after life (if you believe in that) but we dont know that for sure. Nobody does.


For a long time whenever i got hurt or abused by others the one thing that would keep me going was the thought that one day they would get what’s coming to them


That one day they’ll look back and regret what they did to me even if it takes 10 20 or 30 years


But rather than hope for something that i cant control i find myself much happier these days trying to forget about them


If they’re allowed to completely forget about what they did then I’m allowed to do the same


If they can live their lives happily and carefree I should get to do the same


I deserve to be happy too

Ok so I was looking around Pinterest and minding my own business and I saw this pin joking about how bisexual people are half straight and half gay. In the comment section there were people arguing about how being bi doesn’t mean you only like 2 genders but it actually means you’re attracted to all people regardless of their gender. But then people were arguing about how that’s what pansexuality. This kept going on for a while and this is what I got from both sides.
-pansexuality has transphobic and biphobic roots
-bisexuality is not limited to two genders but can mean liking multiple genders

-labels change as time changes so bisexuality being only two genders and pansexuality being multiple genders is valid
-people not acknowledging that pansexuality as valid is panphobic
