If I had to be honest I don’t really get it (when it comes to the more unique ones ur referring to) BUT it’s not like it’s hurting anyone. So if someone tells me that’s how they want me to refer to them, that’s how I’ll refer to them (or I’ll just use their name). Ygm? cos of the association that comes with liking anime & manga. like u get called a 'weeb' n shit & assumed to be some lowlife living in a basement who never goes outside into the 'real world'. liking webtoons is generally more 'acceptable' bc it doesnt (yet) have those sorts of connotations, so if someone asked if i liked webtoons i wouldnt be as hes......   reply
