Have you been regularly cleaning it? When I had my tongue pierced I had to use mouthwash every morning and night and after every bit of food I had, it’s not the same but you should always clean it at least two times a day when you first get it pierced up until it heals. You might also be allergic to the metal used so I’d check that out too.
