If it disgusts you so much, then what are you doing on this site, anyway? If it doesn't appeal to you, then it doesn't appeal to you, but I'd encourage you to read more BL to get a better picture and broader scope of the many different types of stories in the genre. There are plenty of people who write BL and GL, and there are a good number who are......

Honto Yajuu - because it's a character driven comedy and it would be awesome to get some great VAs for that!

I think there are a few things to consider?
I think, as a fictional trope, rape sometimes allows the reader to feel in-control of a situation that, normally, IRL, would be horrifying and out of their control. If that makes sense. And I think that's why some rape fantasy in fiction tends toward that.
That being said, though, I think there should b......

Get yourself an electric toothbrush (a cheaper one!) and use it to stimulate your clitoris - works like a charm. There are also vibes out there made to suck on the clitoris which are also good, but they are more expensive and those things are more difficult to keep private if you're not living on your own.
Just stimulating a clit on its own works, ......

You're absolutely not alone in that - I'm a lesbian and I read yaoi and BL all the time. ;_;
I can't ever fathom the idea of having a relationship with a guy and I've really only ever been truly in love with a couple of women before. But sometimes yaoi and BL have such good gay stories that actually address a lot of issues and have a lot of intere......

I'm a lesbian - and I wound up becoming a *gasp* fujoshi.
I found that: there are a lot of yaoi and BL that are written by women. Back in the day, in Japan, this was considered to be a safe way for women to express their sexuality. (A lot of men would steer clear of it, too.) There are numerous articles and papers about this in Japanese. Fujoshi do......

I'm a lesbian and I've grown up in a really strict Christian place, too. Luckily, things have started to change more around here, but there are still families who kick their kids out and who tell them they're going to hell.
I feel lucky that most of my friends and family are people who are more open minded, I also searched for more friends who were......

It was in my late teens, I think! At the time, before reading any, I thought yaoi was just gross stuff that was all unrealistic sex and stuff - because that's what fandom used to tell me online all the time. But after realizing I was queer, I went out in search for more gay stories and found some yaoi and I realized that I really loved it and that ......

It originated in earlier English (I guess around the 1800s?) as meaning 'clean' or 'pure' or 'virtuous' or anything that family or kids could enjoy. (Basically stuff that isn't R18, but there is some R18 out there that people might call wholesome, too, just because it's 'softer'.)
Fandom kind of took it as the 'pure' and 'cute' definition and start......

I've been reading about teens having sex since I was a teenager, myself, and it's never bothered me.
I think, too, that it's hard to judge where a mangaka is coming from - because you never know if they could've been writing from their own experiences as a teenager who has had sex.
Frankly, I think it's okay if you're uncomfortable with it - if you......

I'm a lesbian, myself, and I enjoy yaoi because it's written with a lot of emotion and with a lot of thought! And it also provides me with a lot of fluffy gay feels - lol, it's not all just about sex. Although I actually do enjoy reading about gay sex as well because it's not straight-focused? But that's just me.
I don't really care who writes it -......

This might not be the best place to discuss this - it is an open forum! But you may find some better answers through some online searching.
However - in my experience:
Religious conservatism is really hard to deal with because it's very rigid and set in its ways and it's not open to change.
I left my former religion a while back because they were......

I'm a lesbian and a fujoshi! I just find it easier to read about gay relationships instead of straight relationships - and there are just a lot of lengthier BL and yaoi out there with good stories.

No, not really.
I'm a lesbian, myself, but I do think that a f/m couple could consist of people who are trans female or trans male, or people who are interested in more than one gender, or not interested in sex, and that's pretty cool.
I DO personally find it much more difficult to read about any couples that aren't LGBT, though, and I don't think ......

- Harukaze no Etranger/Umibe no Etranger. The art is so pretty and you can feel the mood of the scene through it so much. It deals with mental illness in a way I've never seen before, as well as returning to a small hometown and really interesting thoughts about sex and intimacy and what some people prefer and don't prefer and. Idk, it's just a rea......

Lmao I'm a lesbian myself and I love yaoi and yuri and BL and GL. I really don't see this sort of mindset often at all in these fandoms. It does happen, but like, it's just like homophobia IRL. There are people who are supportive and people who are dicks about stuff.

Only hentai stuff, really. I'm a lesbian - and IRL I only want a relationship with a woman, but when I'm reading manga, I'll like it as long as it's hot and LGBT. (It's kind of weird, but I get turned off reading straight hentai.)
Regular yaoi sex scenes, even if they're on the darker side, usually just focus more on the relationships and I'm more ......

Just two things:
That everyone goes through life at a different pace, and if you're not accomplishing the same things other people are at the same age are (getting a job, getting married, finishing college, etc.) It's okay. You're definitely not alone in that. That even goes for creating things, if you're a writer or artist, you have a whole lifeti......

Nope! I'm a lesbian and I want to read every kind of fun gay story I can get my hands on. I love yaoi and yuri and I've been reading them for years - and they've genuinely made my life better. (And, in my opinion, you don't have to be gay to enjoy them or create them, either.)
Those friends of yours shouldn't be telling you what to do with your lif......
