I'm pretty sure it's an unwritten rule but to not snipe someone's uploads. So if someone is already doing translations or uploads (that's not a bot) on a work then don't do it, or at least wait 1 month. My guess is that most of them are adaptation of novels and so they assume that you've read it already/ will just read the novel after, rather than as a way to introduce it to new audiences.
