This site really gets under my skin sometimes with how blatantly misogynistic some of you are. I'm so over the ridiculous comments and the comparisons between male and female experiences when they're in no way comparable. No, women reading bl isn't the same as men watching lesbian porn. For one, most BL isn't even about real guys; it's just drawings, while lesbian porn features actual women who are often exploited by the porn industry. Plus, a lot of men's interest in lesbian content stems from a place of misogyny—maybe not all, but definitely a lot. Now i'm not saying there isn't some sort of fetish going on for a lot of fujoshis and that's also weird but in term of real life consequences it's just not that deep, i'm sure it's uncomfortable for a lot of people but it is not comparable to what queer women experience in terms of being fetishized by the opposite gender. Anyway BL fans themselves can be super misogynistic too. If a female character pops up in a BL, you’d think it was the end of the world with the kind of insults that fly around—stuff only a 1950s husband could come up with and say say. And the cuckold tropes aimed at female characters? Why do gay male characters have to drag women into their problems just because they can’t handle their own sexualities? Just stay single if that’s the case! Don't date or marry a woman you don't love they're not objects for you to use to present your life as "normal" to a heteronormative society. The roles can't be reversed when the one constantly having it worse is a specific gender.

Mine has to be The War of the Oaken Bucket basically it's this medieval conflict, it began when soldiers from Modena, Italy, stole a wooden bucket from Bologna. Enraged by the theft, Bologna declared war on Modena, resulting in the Battle of Zappolino. Modena won and kept the bucket as a trophy. To this day, the original bucket is still kept in Modena’s city hall lol

Personal definitions of masculinity or femininity are often influenced by culture and upbringing and it's always interesting seeing how gender stereotypes change from country to country albeit not drastically

Most slangs popular right now is just AAVE repackaged by white teens, like gyatt (goddamn) turning into a word for butt but either way i'm sure everyone has a slang or dead meme they still love, i still love saying "I forgor" it just comes out naturally
