I really like death is the only ending for the villainess and i never really cared for The Remarried Empress but either way i don't give a fuck when these nobles/royals mc get screwed over by a slave, i wouldn't care if said slave killed them. Authors need to stop incorporating slavery in their shallow ass worldbuilding just to make the slaves the bad guys like no just because Penelope BOUGHT Eckles doesn't mean he owns her any loyalty. The Remarried Empress is a whole other can of worms, Navier or whatever her name is is such a shit person i hate everything about her boring ass classist personality, Rashta should have poisoned her ass

These are just the stories i have read this year btw

This story is such a well written masterpiece, i don't think any historical manhwa has ever come or will ever achieve this level of greatness. I have pictures of me crying after finishing it.

I've been following this story since it's very beginning and enjoyed every second of it, the characters are realistic and relatable and the pace is fantastic, i know some might be intimidated by the length of the story but please read it.

The title makes this story sound freakier than it actually is, it's a sweet romance with fun characters and relationship, if you need something to unwind this story is perfect for you. There are some conflicts but at the core this story is just a wholesome school romance.

Number 4: Rumspringa no Joukei and Dear Gene (https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/rumspringa_no_joukei/ and https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/dear_gene/)

Putting them together cuz technically Dear Gene is its sequel anyhow. Again i just really love stories written to be in a different time period, the art is beautiful and while i do believe some elements of this story could be improved i still really loved it.

The only reason this story is so low is because it's yet to be finished but even now incompleted it's a must read manga, the art is beautiful and while the mysteries are nothing too crazy it still has an eerie atmosphere.

Genuinely why is every single vaguely middle eastern or Desi character characterized as animalistic or as a brute that the white european has to tame and conquer. And the clothes? Why do they always put them in those fuckass racist belly dancer Halloween costumes?

Stop adding stories to your hyper specific list by chapter one, HALF THE TIME IT DOESN'T EVEN FIT, tell me why i just read a story from a list called "consent is the key" where there was an attempted rape on an unconscious individual IN THE SECOND CHAPTER. Not only will the ai steal the authors writing but chatgpt has a serious impact on the environment, you don't need a spoiler for a fucking porn manhwa that badly. You'd think fans of a medium such as comics could make their braincells work enough to realize "If ai art = bad, ai writing= bad too"

I'm genuinely baffled how people genuinely think that if you don't like a story you just have to be quiet and say nothing, people will genuinely get mad at you for giving even the littlest negative reviews, guys negative reviews are just if not more important than positive how tf is an author or inspiring authors going to improve their writing, think about what can be better, what should be portrayed in a more sensible way eccetera. I know the bl community has pretty much normalized rape and allat but it's pretty clear at the moment that most authors are not writing this stories with dark topics to actually explore them but because they're popular with readers and their easy to make popular cuz ya know artists need that bag, i don't wanna shit in anyone's jam but even if you got a weird kink (sigh) have some class about it and taste, let's actually analyze and criticize these stories ☹

I've been seeing a lot of arguments (mainly on Twitter) about how just because something is implied doesn't mean it's canon and i genuinely don't understand that, do people think the author added those implications for shit and giggles? Implying something in canon....makes it canon. What's your opinion?
