I need a better way to learn Japanese. Learning Japanese by watching yaoi has left me with a vocabulary consisting of things like; “no”, “stop”, “don’t”, “not here, people might see us”, etc. I have a feeling using this vocabulary in Japan, might get me some strange looks. 4 reply
Rika, female last time I checked, at least a decade older then every other age listed so far (and sadly most of you are young enough to be my kids), I’m from the Hub of the Commonwealth in the US (bonus points for whoever guesses which city that is).
I like historical, fantasy, adventure, drama, shoujo and Yaoi. And Sid.

Completely straight, middle-aged, married, white woman from Beantown in the US. After years watching anime for three and half decades and working at the Rocky Horror Picture Show off and on for over two decades, the fact that I’ve been reading Yaoi for about twelve years doesn’t really shock my friends and family. It does still slightly bother ...... 5 reply
One word isn’t enough. It maybe be for you young’ins, but by the time you get to my age, you need a lot more words. So I would describe my life as a Random continuous acid trip in a land that can’t be described to mundanes. Yeah, that about describes it. It definitely hasn’t been boring. 1 reply
Unfortunately, I’m from the country run by the horrible orange troll. Someday America will recover from his rule. I hope. So I’ll say I’m from the country of New England. 1 reply
I’m completely straight, but in my crowd I’m a complete oddity. And when I was growing up I was always the weird kid who was bullied relentless until the point where I considered ending my life. But once I was out of school, I discovered my friends and they accepted me for who I am. So, I am dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ Community in anyway...... reply
When your gay friends forget to turn off the porn before inviting you in the house, 2D gay sex is pretty tame. Still hot. And I like when it has a good plot. Men, whether they are gay or straight, don’t seem to want plot to ruin their two hour sex scene. 1 reply

I was almost 21. I wasn’t planning on waiting for marriage, but had put in place 3 criterea that needed to be met before I gave my virginity up.
1. We both had to be sober. (I didn’t want my first time to be a drunken mistake.)
2. I had to trust the person.
3. I had to at least care about the person, if not love them. (I was not naive enough ...... reply
Why? Seriously, I’m in my forties already and I haven’t stopped yet, so I doubt I’ll stop reading it. At least until my other eye goes. Then I’ll just guilt my husband into reading me translated BL novels.
By the way, I don’t know who these people, that keep trying to change you, are, but it they can’t except you as who you are, maybe...... reply
