gatekeeping is ONLY okay when its something that you know will be ruined by tiktok, i have a LOT of examples but im not gonna say :3 ALSO when people do it for things like general knowledge or something not everyone was present for - like an event or something in a fandom - it reeeally gets on my nerves!!!!   reply

LITERALLY!!! and it's so normalised, and people are getting so excited over the BARE MINIMUM. "Omg the ml is so hot!!" and he's literally a rapist/abuser. Like the pretty privilege is so annoying, people keep excusing ml's who've raped the mc because they have a pretty face, like its not okay!
