How did y’all get your life back together or how are you doing in the process of getting your life back together? My friend in Canada is stressed bc the GED test is gone and is being replaced with a Canadian version of GED. The problem is the province she lives in hasn’t started on the Canadian version and there’s no news about it yet. I’m trying to help her but i don’t know what to say.

Mines is my mom ask me to go to her wedding eventhough the person she’s marrying (my stepfather) abused me (and my sister) and gave me PTSD. Somehow abuse in my family is kept very secretive, like my mom’s cousin got severely abused ( beaten badly) by her ex lover and yet my aunt (mom’s sister) is still friends with him. My aunt and other family members had already know about it yet they still treat the ex lover as a friend.
