I don't think the issue with chatGPT is someone using it to write the message. You CAN make it sound like you if you know how to work around it and how to teach it. It could be the situation that caused it and the proximity of the incident until now. If someone really offended you when they broke up then it might feel like it lasts longer than someone who slowly just broke up due to time.
