I realised I didn't love them genuinely as much as they did with me. I was a horrible person to them and shouldn't have been in an relationship in the first place, I mainly stayed with them because I needed a reason to continue living.

I'm one of those people and I will tell you, it's an AWFUL feeling. It's something you should get over anyways but It can hurt when it's from people you thought would never say them. I don't care If a stranger say it to me but when you see stuff like this it can hurt.
