A dangerous game fr. I try not to spiral with this because as difficult as it is to be trans sometimes.. I'm also thankful for the perspective I have. If I was born a cis guy would I still have the same level of empathy? Would that male privilege turn me into someone I couldn't stand? Just communicate. If you value each other you'll work it out. If my longtime friend forgot to wish me a happy birthday I wouldn't sweat it cus they show up in so many other ways that I wouldn't be pressed over it. well past my college years and I still dont know. I have friends that are in fields that are completely unrelated to their degrees (and its been rough for them but they're managing) , friends who trudged their way through medical school and are still struggling to find the right fit/department and pay off their loans but do have stable (difficult) ......   reply
