Really depends on the flavour what texture best suits it. Like harder ice cream with mint flavouring is nicer than soft because it feels like im eating minty ice but caramels, coffees, rose, chocolate etc is best soft.
Then if we’re talking gelatos theyre nicer when theyre harder because it feels like theres more physical fruit in the mix.
