I'm trying to learn how to sew, anything y'all recommend I should do? Like should I learn hand sewing first or should I buy/borrow (I heard my uncle has two, idk if he and my aunt still uses them) a decent sewing machine and start learning from there? Please give me tips I'm desperate and nobody in my family knows how to sew proper garments which is what I'm aiming for. I know it's still gonna be a long way before I'm able to it but I don't even know where to start man.

The amount of people who take things at face value is beyond me nowadays. It's extremely irritating to see how people don't even try to see the deeper meaning of a piece of literature/media anymore. They just scream out the first thing they think of, act upon their own biases without considering or understanding the literature/media for what it is, and overall just don't look at the bigger picture.

On a serious note, this will have a bigger impact on our society than what people may think. Our society (social, specifically.) advanced due to people starting to look at the bigger picture, thinking outside of the box and putting themselves in each other's shoes. But nowadays people take everything too literally, assume, spread fake news etc. instead of taking a step back and analyzing things first. I'm so tired of people just degrading literature/media to the level of thirst material, or just straight up hating on it because they find it weird/can't understand it (take the psychological genre for example)


TLDR: People are stupid and it annoys me

My little brother just got sick after he failed BADLY on his exams. While on the dinner table on a call with my other aunt from a different city (my brother is in his and my ma's room) my aunt said in reply when my other aunt asked if he was sick and thats why he failed: "He wasn't sick before he left home he failed just because he couldn't do it". My brother's room is near the kitchen so I was worried he'd hear and feel worse and I replied right away "Please stop, he might hear and feel worse. You listen to the mass everyday yet you have no empathy?" she went silent and followed up with "It's hard being a student."

SHE'S NOT ALWAYS BAD BUT UGH THAT FELT SO GOOD. She always taunts and worsens the fire in every issue and situation without receiving any consequences so yeah. Just thought I'd share my little achievement.

Let's take a trip down memory lane, I don't mean recent ones, I want you to dig deep into your soul and think about it. I want old shit like for example OHC, Detective Conan, Slam Dunk, etc. it doesn't even have to be an anime it can be a cartoon like Tom and Jerry, or maybe a storybook in your childhood like Winnie The Pooh

Why is it that when something gets popular people act like it's the origin and paragon of the trope it contains? It's so annoying. Then when they see an unrelated post about the same trope that's about another story, they compare those two together it sm to the point as if they're making it seem like every story that involves that trope should follow the flow and example of said popular story. I know people have their own opinions and stuff, and believe me when I tell you I've been trying to mind my business for so long but I just can't anymore. I'm so sick of people just comparing unrelated characters to one another saying shit like "oMg pOpUlAr ChArActEr bEcAmE tHis ChaRacTer BecaUse He gOt tiRed oF plaYing iNsErt SpoRT/ DOinG inSert hObBy/joB lOLloL", talking down on one just because the other is more popular, saying this story copied this from that story when just some basic ass fucking trope, harassing other people just because they don't have the same opinion/ don't like the story they like/ like a ship they don't like etc. People never know basic respect and limits, they can never read the room, they're always holed up in that little world of theirs inside their brains forgetting that other people WILL have different opinions, WILL have different tastes, there WILL always be stories with similar tropes/plots/flow whether its intentional or unintentional, and there WILL be people who'll get annoyed by your actions, you're not the only one who has emotions, prepared to get bit back when you keep agitating, taunting and talking down on others and the things they like. They don't realize the world doesn't revolve around them. You're not that special. You're just a normal, average citizen among a billion people.

The way you act is not healthy nor is it okay. You're the one who needs help. YOU'RE the one who needs to hear "Relax, its not that deep.", not the person you just harassed for hours until they eventually proved you wrong and you decide to backtrack bc you know you're losing the argument but you don't want to just apologize and admit your wrongs.

I've never even read YTC but your MC is probably in my top 3 most hated BL characters he's a ho who fucks two men at the same time and can't decide on who to choose so he just hurts everyone else involved. The amount of dub/no con on thia manhwa is also insane so I just wanted to know why y'all still like/read it? And also why this is still rated 9+ bc if anything it should be an 8.5 maximum Just had this thought rekindled bc the manhwa updated again

Might be a controversial take but I hate it. There I said it. Americans on tiktok are migrating to XHS apparently bc of the tiktok ban and it's so annoying. Not just that my feed is now full of them and I had to spend a long time curating it again but also the fact that they are already trying to bash and cancel some users on there based on their standards. I saw a lot of American users underneath a cosplay video calling the cosplayer a 'whitewasher' 'body dysmorphia promoter' etc. just bc they used a lighter shade of foundation for their IDV cosplay and showed an editing process for their cosplay. This isn't limited to cosplays but artists too I've seen quite a few people commenting 'A.I' on gorgeous art pieces made by CN artists when it's clearly not??? Ppl on TT say they're going to be respectful etc. etc. but it's only a matter of time before they ruin shit again and there's already so many signs. And I'm not trying to say everyone is like this, I'm sure there's respectful ones too, but in general it just irritates me and this is just me venting.
