Same way I see people sending death threats to people liking or making content of ships they like. So really, it's a fandom issue, not a shipping issue. We have had people killing each other because their favorite team didn't win in a football match.

As far as the r/pe goes, its literally rampant in most yaois, if people can still read yaoi despite that, i don't see why omegaverse is not readable. I mostly avoid the r/pey ones.
