My guess as to why they do it is honestly...the normalization of it. There's no doubt that there is a hyper sexualization of teenagers, in both real life, fiction and um...other types of medias. I'm not entirely sure if you're talking about an anxiety disorder or if you're talking about anxiety as in something you get sometimes in certain situations...but to me this sounds completely normal?
