I do that with video games, but not for anime, due to my very subjective sense of humor & being let down by a lot of comedy recommendations. I guess when you've been watching anime for more than half your life, you get picky & can't watch just anything like when you were new to anime. Since most series are ongoing, I try not to read more than 30 at once, but I make an exception for completed series, oneshots, & doujinshis. Over the past 15 years, I'd like to imagine I've read at least 1,000 per year. lol   reply

I tend to avoid yaoi with any amount of hentai in it, only read ones with straight guys when I'm in a certain mood to see a guy persistantly chased & learn he's actually bi. I'd say Killing Stalking was an exception, but I don't believe the series qualifies as yaoi despite being labled so. I tend to avoid shotacon & bara, mostly for aesthetic reaso......   reply
