Teenage are too old for horror stories I think you should show them that you have the upper hand, make a deals give and take. Tell them you have a rare ice cream/snack/things they like and you’ll give them if they behave.

Maybe try to soothe them or scare them :3 I have seen a grandma tried to soothe a crying child and another grandma scare them with various of verbal threat both are worked
