It's really not strange. Do you normally decide to have a crush on someone??? The impossibility of reciprocation is not a turn off for everyone. Like you could have a crush on a celebrity, but the fact that you could literally never be together doesn't stop you. math and physics. tbh I have no idea what I wanna do with it, I just love studying it. Academia sounds nice in theory but idk if that's where I'll end up.
