Shaming someone for not fitting beauty standards or societal expectations is awful regardless of situation. Fat-shaming and skinny-shaming are equally bad. You don't get to decide which people's feelings get hurt more and more impacted by. Standards about weight were different in different eras. For example, in certain centuries or decades, being curvy or fat was seen as the standard of beauty while in other eras, being very skinny was seen as stylish. Beauty standards are different in other places as well. There is no point in making this a competition.

Asians with smaller and slanted eyes were made fun of because they were different and did not fit the beauty standards, but bitches made them a trend to make their eyes look slanted. Freckles are less valued than clear skin yet some people now go out of their way to get fake freckles. In Korean in the past, Korean women were encouraged to have surgery on their eyelids to make them more appealing to white men. Small feet in Chinese women was seen as a sign of beauty and wealth since you were not outside working, but it was discontinued and extremely harmful. Society's perceptions of what is pretty or not can drive bad self-esteem and eating disorders. Extensive coverage of skinny models and diets can pressure you to not be satisfied with your body and try to change it.
My point is, you shouldn't compare struggles. Fat and overweight people may get more stigma, but you shouldn't say that skinny people don't suffer as much from being body-shamed. Being body-shamed is bad on everybody and shouldn't happen. Keep your fucking mouth shut if you're going to be cruel and criticize how someone looks.

Don't listen the opinions to others about whether you're too fat or too skinny or comments about how you look or your weight. Their opinion is trash. You should only lose weight or gain weight if you yourself want it or there is a health reason. You don't know what people are going through, don't downplay or shame them.
