My 18th birthday was right in the middle of the worst period for my friend group (multiple friendship breakups were happening at the same time) so I spent the day wishing everyone forgot and it would be over as soon as possible because I did not want them to say happy birthday to me and pretend to celebrate when deep down we were all holding stuff ......

I work in fast food as well so I understand the pain of living up to impossible standards when it’s really not that serious. Honestly whenever I f up with customers or with tasks around my boss I think about how there are people out there in the world that fuck up even worse than me and they don’t try and learn from their mistakes
