I know three dialects of where I came from (out of hundreds; no kidding), English and I'm trying to learn Spanish and Japanese. I was always interested in language when I was a kid but my resources back then were scarce. It depends tho. I mean, I don't want to be a cat in heat every month, and I don't want to be a wild animal everytime I smell someone who's in heat. So if worse comes to worst (meaning if there was no choice but to live in that kind of world) I'd probably choose to be a beta. Being an alpha would mean that the society expects something from you.
