I use avoidance a lot especially with other people when I think they might be mad at me b/c I can’t handle conflict at all. Also I’m really stubborn when it comes to holding grudges even if what I’m mad about was a pretty minor thing.   1 reply

Not an ignorant question but when I was really struggling with self harm, my family would say a lot of ignorant and insensitive shit about it. Probably the worst were when they called me an attention whore, said I was just doing it to ‘guilt trip’ them, or just flat out called me stupid for it. Needless to say it didn’t help the situation at ......   reply

Mine usually aren’t but they can be especially when they’re drinking. If they have me be their designated driver I make one sit in the front seat and one in the back because I’m still scarred from when I was 17 and I was their dd for the first time- my mom tried having sex with my dad in the back seat & kept talking about how much she wanted ......   1 reply

A lot of really inflammatory posts on this site are pretty obvious bait & should just be ignored instead of being taken so seriously. Not sure if this one is really *that* unpopular, I figured it is since a lot of people end up taking the bait and arguing with the person. :)   reply

1) Kids mostly just made fun of me for my weight and appearance. Had a group of boys in middle school use me as a punchline to roast each other for a while, like they'd make jokes about how ___ should date me/I'm the best they could do, would make their friends go up to me in the hallway and force me to hold hands with them so the rest of the group......   reply

Misunderstandings that get blown out of proportion or could be easily cleared up with a quick convo but instead they jump to conclusions (ex: person A sees person B in public with a woman, automatically assumes he's dating her so gets extremely mad about it). Also don't like the whole "I'm straight except for [person]" thing or (even worse) sayin......   reply

The only one I really understood was /s for sarcastic, I know that one has been used for a while now (at least on reddit) and it can be really helpful since some people have a hard time detecting sarcasm. I don't really get the point of most of the other ones, I feel like it's easier if you just type out something like "genuine question" at the sta......   reply

I’ve dropped some bc the characters looked too similar. There was one manga I was reading not too long ago (can’t remember the name) where I thought the uke was cheating on the seme b/c him and his friend looked exactly alike. Realized I was gonna keep having that issue so I stopped reading lol   reply

I used to pirate games when I was younger. I mostly stopped now, I’m not against doing it if there’s no way to buy it or it’s unreasonably hard to buy it though.   1 reply

I know some people have a problem with women reading bl in general but mostly I see people not liking fujoshis bc at this point it’s kinda a loaded term? To a lot of people when you call yourself a fujoshi, it implies to them that you fetishize gay men to the point that you’re “shipping” guys irl, bothering gay couples, etc. because that’......   reply

No, I'll disagree with people but if I notice they're starting to get aggressive/rude/disrespectful, I nope out of the conversation. It just isn't worth it to argue with people on this site tbh lol   reply

You're not an imposter in the queer community, even if you're happy in a "straight" relationship it doesn't change that you're pansexual and belong in the LGBT+ community. :) I'm not bi or pan but I've had a similar experience with my sexuality. It took me until earlier this year to finally figure out that I was asexual because I had so many doub......   1 reply

If I'm having a conversation with my mom and she gets bored, she'll make smart ass comments about how boring the conversation is (like interrupting me midsentence saying something like "wow GREAT story") or she'll do passive aggressive stuff instead of just telling me she wants to talk about something else. There was one time that I was talking t......   reply
