Hate to point out the obvious, but this site doesn’t just have yaoi on it, there’s straight romance and smut, yuri/GL, loads of shonen stuff like JJK, chainsaw man, Haikyuu, one piece, they’re all on here as well as BL So there’s probably about a 50/50 split, maybe 60/40 in favour of women/non binary people.   1 reply

Probably not that niche, but I love blonde delinquents who seem to be really bad, but then they meet dark haired nerds (who wear glasses, preferably) and fall in love. If that sounds like your thing, Blue Sky Complex is the goat, but I also love Outsider Communication SO MUCH. oh, and it probably began for me with Doukyousei.   reply

There’s a huge difference between reading BL and enjoying it, and talking in a fetishising way. I don’t believe simply reading BL is fetishising gay men, even though some manga is very fetishising, not all of it is, and the way you choose to discuss it shows whether you’re reading it to fetishise or not, at least it does in my opinion. Cleaning - people generally use photoshop but procreate is also pretty good. Look up a tutorial on YouTube. Translation - if you’re looking to machine translate, I really wouldn’t recommend that. Learning the language is the only way and even then translating Japanese is very hard because of the kanji. Good luck!   1 reply
