I remember them most of the time, but if I don't care, I don't. This includes real life people's names too btw. So sometimes I be walkin down the hallway at school, some girl come up to me, sayin "Hey (my name) have u done ur assignment" and starts talking to me, then I'd just continue the conversation with them even if idk their name lol.

I literally used to struggle with the same things as you. Exactly like what you typed there. But now I'm alright!!! When a friend did that to me, I'd just say, "Let me help with yours" and like, actually help them do it. If you don't wanna help them, just say "Why don't you ask (another friend's name)?
