A lot of times people will add a :) or or or even a to the end of comments. It’s really hard to convey tone or intention through text and comments, so adding a smile at the end helps. All the webtoons and manga are completely okay to read, but I agree they should be supplemented. You don’t even have to stray too far from preferred genres, just read something print and paper that had to go through an editorial process. Even something as simple as Red, White, and Royal Blue.
