If I'm loved in return, yes, but so far I've only experienced unrequited love, and it's painful. I only want to fall in love again if it's mutual, but it's hard for me to imagine meeting someone who loves me as much as I love them. reply

I like Junjou Romantica more because I really enjoy the relationship between Nowaki and Hiroki. They have a lot of sweet and touching moments together and I like seeing them deal with struggles as a couple. It was the first BL series to ever make me cry. I can relate to some of what you said... stuff like not having good self-esteem but at the same time having perfectionist standards for yourself and people... and relating to BL characters' feelings and getting reassurance from it. My very first fictional crush was Link from when I played the game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a child. Nowadays, I mainly ship the characters I like with other characters, so tbh I usually don't develop real crushes on them 'cause it's easier for me to imagine them with someone other than with me, if that makes sense. reply

My advice would be to never depend on anyone way too much. I depended too much on certain people and wish that I hadn't let my life revolve so much around them since it ended up damaging my mental and emotional well-being. People can change and surprise you. A few weeks of school is still enough time. Finish the assignments as soon as you can, honestly I would worry more about just getting them done first rather than having them be perfect first.
