I think you have to create your own destiny. I don't believe in 'god's all-knowing plan' or 'ultimate fate' or anything like that. You are the captain at the helm of your ship. Stop relying on other people to steer your boat because you know where you want to go better than anyone else.
Set a goal, and then take one step at a time.
You want to b......

Yaoi and BL is primarily aimed at heterosexual females. Now, this doesn't mean it's BAD. As a queer person, I wonder if I should feel more upset about it, but I don't.
When women sexualize boy x boy love, I feel the same way I feel when thinking about porn. It's just not very applicable for me.
Yaoi and real-life are different. Characters in yao......

To be perfectly honest, I think physical appearance does play a part in what can be beautiful. For me, it's the combination of confidence, swagger, and charisma. Any sort of beauty beyond that is a bonus. I couldn't fall for someone who didn't carry the listed traits above even if they were drop dead gorgeous. But that's just me. I'm attracted to t......

So for as long as I can remember, I haven't matched up what my conservative group of peers thought of as female. It wasn't even the skirts, dresses, or long hair so much, but more what I found beautiful in myself and others, and what I wanted to do with my life.
I grew up in a predominantly Jewish group of people who had some... interesting rules......

Viktor x Yuuri from Yuri!!! On Ice! Literally obsessed over their relationship. It's so cute and perfect. I think it's a fantastic example of a healthy queer relationship. That's not something that's often portrayed in fiction or any genre of TV. I write fan fiction about them because I love them so much and they encourage me in my every day life.......

That my parent will find out my tastes. Whether it be in politics or my choice in reading or binging material, I'm terrified my parents will be disalusioned to my true nature. It would cause them unhappiness. My own feelings don't matter so much. Their unhappiness isn't a price I'm willing to pay.

I'm sorry that you're having a tough time. I've been su*cidal before and it really sucks. It took me a long time to get mental health care because it took me a while to WANT it. Now that I have it, it is utterly irreplaceable in my life. I'm learning how to deal with conflicts and arguments properly, how to process emotions, how to make boundaries,......

Mmmm..... I think I wouldn’t. Here me out! I love fantasy worlds. I love to bury myself inside of them. I totally want to live in a fantasy world more than I want just about anything else. But the question is about whether or not we’d choose to live in our favorite anime.
Think about what makes your favorite anime your favorite. The badass or......

OH DEFINATELY. So think of it this way. Sadism and Masochism exist on two different planes: physical and emotional. A uke could EASILY be a sadist. Imagine him lording over his power, his body, and his words over a seme that loves when that is down to him. Just because the seme is in the penetration position which is typically the mans position doe......

In general, I dislike children. I find them sticky and dirty and lacking the capacity to hold any semblance of emotional maturity. That being said, I've recently acquired a baby brother. He is like a cat. He can stay. For now.
(I'm kidding I love my brother.)

I read TONS of Bl and yaoi, but I don't know that I would consider myself a fujoshi. I generally prefer homosexual romance to heterosexual romance because I have trauma associated with the latter. But my dad recently found out that I enjoy reading, watching, and writing things in this genre. He actually took it really well. I'm an adult now, and th......

I don't think it's a matter of being 'too old' for something. Rather, I think it's that different things interest us at different times in our lives according to when we're open to receiving them. This has been the case for me with the stories I read, the media I consume, and the things I learn. So to answer your question, no, you can't be 'too old......

Counter question: Do you find it weird when gay people read/watch straight romance? No, because straight romance is the norm in media. As a person (and a lesbian), I enjoy seeing expressions of all sorts of love. In fact, I actually prefer to avoid straight romance because of my own personal hang-ups, but I still enjoy the genre a lot.

Ah god, hard question. Depends on the day. Sometimes my greatest fantasy is to have a strong, muscled male obey my every whim, possibly donned in a collar, possibly on his knees, possibly with a vibrator inside him. Other days I wouldn't mind being dominated myself by either a female or a male. I'm a fickle beast, I am. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Hello! I am a woman, but I'm not straight. I'm actually bisexual and I lean more towards my attraction to women than I do to men, and I would like to answer your questions from my point of view. First off, let me start by saying I agree with you 100%. I don't read yaoi too much anymore, mostly mindlessly enjoying fantasy isekai manga and the like. ......
