Lmao "valid" reasons? If your religion makes you hate someone, its time to move on. Sexuality is a broad spectrum and people denying the existence of LGBT+ community and going as far as killing, bullying, discriminating and raping them doesn't sit well with me and it shouldn't be with anyone. If they can't understand you, I'd suggest talking to some other adult family member who understands you and may convince your family. If not, I'd suggest that you leave that place.
