Yeah i think your hypothesis is exactly on point, people can justify murder more than rape. I'm rather uncomfy with both in fiction (still read them bc i truly have low standards). Murder is just more easily justifiable than rape, and I feel like murderers are more 'worshipped' with the fact that "yeah sure he might kill others, but like at least ......   2 reply
