I usually tend to reread oneshots and anthologies when I'm bored. The one I've reread the most on here is Change Mark.
I have the panels directly etched into my brain at this point.

I don't think I've seen any actual shounen fan that shit on the OP animation for Gear 5. Most of them were "old good, new bad" types. I think the same would go for the MP100 critics, but I've never seen anyone actually critique MP100s animation.

Soil was pretty amazing in every way. It activated neurons in my brain
The author's other work Wet moon was way more of a mindfuck though. Pretty captivating but it does not make a lot of sense.

Have you watched Baoh The Visitor? It's not too extreme, but there's still a bit of gore.
Also haven't watched it so take the rec with a grain of salt, but I've heard Legend of The Overfiend was a pretty popular gore anime for its time. I'm not sure if it's classified as a hentai or it was just very sexually explicit, but it is sexual iirc.
