For me I was usually floored by cramps for the first 12 or so hours and had to use a hot water bottle until the painkillers kicked in usually the third round for me. I found that paracetamol worked for me but you usually find out which painkiller is effective on your cramps though trial and error. Non-painkiller stuff that I found helpful 1. Avo......   1 reply
