I like dudes so I like reading romance stories with them in it. Started out reading shoujo when I was younger and found yaoi. I go between both genres now but lean more on yaoi since a lot of shoujo nowadays are either highschool setting or Isekai which I don’t find very interesting.   reply

With live action you got the extra layer of having acting. I find most Asian BL kinda just overact or they get awkward/look uncomfortable with stuff like kissing. Also as the others said, I like reading at my own pace and can consume a lot of BL way faster by reading.   reply
