I do agree with you and this is actually why I think I stopped reading yaoi years ago. It’s so lazy and uncomfortable. Yes 1000%. With out fail every time something gets popular the general public will turn it into something it’s not. For example, I know ATLA was on nick when we were kids but nobody remembered what it was really about or talked about it until it was on Netflix.
