In 2016, I had faith that the majority of Americans were not idiots. I had faith that they could see this slimeball for the greedy POS that he is. When the results started coming in, I was in disbelief. I thought it was a hoax. I couldn't believe that many people voted for a man who actively campaigned for ignorance and hatred. I was crestfallen.
