I can’t remember a specific example but when a character feels forced to choose between 2 options.
I read a story before when a MC was invited out to drink with his “friends” and didn’t want to go so he lied about being sick. His fake friend was like “oh, I’ll visit you then.” So MC was like, I feel better, I’ll go.

No, I was growing out of chuunibyou syndrome. I became conscious of how weird I was, developing social anxiety. However, thankfully most people were nice to me and I had a lot of friends so it wasn’t too bad. I was a little socially awkward and I…ugh nevermind I get embarrassed thinking about it.
