performative activists took the term “cultural appropriation” and ran with it. using other people’s cultures as costumes is NEVER ok, and you have to give credit to other cultures when it is due, but there’s no reason to harass people when they are using the culture respectfully and giving full credit. in AP human geography we learn about c......   1 reply

yeah I feel you (╬￣皿￣) it’d be less vexing if the duke was painted as a villain and the author made it clear that he was in the wrong, but instead they try to play it off like it’s a “normal thing” or that both parties were in the wrong. which is so gaslighty like ugh I hate how they try to normalize that   1 reply
